- Adult Education
For the adult education, there is a theory of ARCS (attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction) model from Keller. The motivation was developed in response to a desire to find more effective ways of understanding the major influences on the motivation to learn and for systematic ways of identifying and solving problems with learning motivation (Keller, 1983).
Psychological learning style can be invested from the asynchronous written dialogue through the test. The learners can discover the dominant and auxiliary psychological preferences suing the personal empowerment through type inventory (Lin, 2005). From Lin's research, this learning style test can help the instructor to observe and offer the instructional content on web accordingly.
- Model
The picture below shows the classroom management model. Different classrooms in different locations will be synchronized through the PolyCom video conferencing tool, while the Elluminate will assist the single students to hear the lecture. The online forum will help the student collaborate after or before the class.

In the forum, the content of the course will be posted.
The Elluminate, as a synchronous method on a weekly basis supports the collaborative efforts by students and teachers to create a meaningful learning environment (Fisher, 2003).
Using asynchronous discussion tool will help with the students collaborate and offer the feedback. The successfully designed asynchronous course can encourage students’ critical thinking, active learning, writing skills, and student interaction and participation (Jaffee, 1997).
